The National Conference on Academic Advising (NACADA) is an association of professional advisors, counselors, faculty, administrators, and students working to enhance the educational development of students. The Outstanding Advising Awards annually recognize individuals who have demonstrated qualities associated with outstanding academic advising of students or outstanding academic advising administration. The conference was held in Phoenix, AZ and on September 30, our very own Senior Academic Advisor, Rafael Almanzar, won this award due to his abilities as an advisor in an international competition.
